Hey, I'm Einar!

I’m a software developer, designer, and tech enthusiast based in Iceland. I enjoy building practical and well-designed systems, with a focus on back-end development in Java and Spring Boot. I also work with Next.js and TypeScript/JavaScript on the front end, and I’m always curious to try new tools and approaches.

Outside of coding, I like staying active with running, painting my Blood Angels army for Warhammer 40k, and jumping online and into a game with friends now and then. In the winter I enjoy skiing. Both coding and my hobbies keep me curious, focused, and detail-oriented, and most importantly, always learning.

Right now, I’m working on JITR, a staffing platform I’ve been building from the ground up, you can check it out at jitr.is. It’s given me experience from system design to deployment, and I’ve learned a lot by figuring things out hands-on. I enjoy tinkering, experimenting, and learning on my own, and I’m always glad to connect with others.
